PROM

Hello beautiful people, Prom is a topic that didn't matter to me 2 years ago. Living in Ismailia in Egypt, we didn't have proms before. I saw it in movies and countless tutorials about it on Youtube. I always didn't understand the fuss about it. To me it was silly, I found everyone was exaggerating about Prom.

But after deciding, that we'll be the first ones to have a prom in Ismailia and helping in preparing it, I understood the fuss about it.
For about 2 months me and my friends we kept talking about: How we'll do our hair?/What dress to buy?..etc.

My experience about Prom is that it's awesome. One of the most magical nights truly.

Our Prom wasn't like the american Prom. The couples only went together but the single people went with their friends, meaning we didn't have to worry about dates. I just went with my friends. We had a voting for prom king and queen and alot of other titles but due to there was no time, the people were randomly picked. So not the most genuine and honest vote.
It was held at a hotel, not the gym as in the movies.

We danced and laughed and took photos. We gathered together for probably the last time because alot of people are heading their separate ways. This is the sad thing about prom and the end of highschool. I don't know about you but I've been with the same people in the same school for 15 years since kindergarten. I love them dearly, and I'm incredibly upset that we are going to depart ways but this is a part of growing up and becoming adults.

I just think that any friends I'll make won't be quite like them because we spend in college an average of 5 years not 15.

Anyways, sorry for the sad bit at the end but this life. I hope you enjoyed the post and that you got to learn about prom from a different perspective.

New Beginnings

Hello my lovely readers, If you have read my previous post, then you probably concluded that I finished my exams. I did and I'm still waiting for the results to show up. As I promised I will upload posts as regularly as I possibly can. I will also write a post about my journey in the egyptien senior year but probably in a month or so.

About the content in this blog, I don't want to limit myself to a specific topic. I am passionate about alot of things and I like to share this stuff with you. Also sometimes, I am obsessed with a new thing and I want to write about it.
Therefore, I will be writing in different domains ( Health and Fitness, Relationships, Fashion, Travelling, Reading and Writing, Music and basically everything that comes to my mind)

Also, I am open to suggestions, If you would like me to talk about a specific subject, Let me know in the comments.

I'm thinking as well about changing the title of the blog, Believe in yourself is more of motto to live by, than it is a name for the blog. It will still be the motto of this blog but with a different name that makes this blog more unique.

Thank you for your patience and tolerance, even if it is just one person checking the blog regularly, thank you for sticking around when I haven't uploaded for nearly a year.

Also I plan on renovating the blog, maybe change its name. If you have any suggestions, please comment them below.
I finish on 28th of june so wish me luck in my exams guys and I'll see you then.*metaphorically of course*

What real freedom means?

Freedom, a word so simple yet so deep. We always see the meaning of freedom as being noble or not a slave. Someone who has the power to own other people's lives. But to me being free means being able to stand up for yourself,  make your own decisions and to take control of life.

You're not free if some figure in your life controls your decisions or choices. You're not free if you're bound to some toxic relationship and you can never break free from your chains.

Hey guys, so here is a mid week update, a little thought that passed my mind.  There is still a post I'll update later on this week. Love you guys, till next post. Xoxoxo

CeCe is A!!!!

Hey guys, sorry for the late update. I started studying for third secondry aka the year that determines your fate. I want to do a small change in my scheduel, I will update one post a week but not in a fixed day.

With that being said, What the hell happened in PLL??? I was so sure it was wren and I saw a theory that said Toby could be A and it kind of made sense. I thought Melissa was black widow and CeCe was Red coat.

But to know that CeCe is Charles aka A. It was a shock. The writers were honest about saying that we'll sympathise with A and that we will be shocked.

Never in a million years I would've thought Charles could be a transgender. But if you go on youtube and search for CeCe is Charles you'll find a couple of theories uploaded months ago saying that Charles is transgender and is CeCe. Really those who figured it out deserve applause.

After knowing who A is, I can't re watch the episodes with the same thrill or mystery. Tell me in the comments if you feel the same way.

Now as for Sara Harvey, never expected that either. She is black widow and red coat, but the thing is there was this episode I guess season 4 where CeCe was red coat and Ali was the other red coat.  Also when we saw  CeCe dressed in a black hoodie eavesdropping on Aria and Ezra that was basically her dressed as A. A clue given to us on a silver platter. But since we got used to look into the details, we didn't think the major clues would be true.

As for Charles being a transgender, we could've guessed it. Most of us were following the twin theory, as in Ali could have a sister.  Mrs D bought two dresses one christmas and A was obsessed with dolls, something usually a girl does.

I hope you enjoyed this week's post. Sorry if it's so long. Share and comment. Till next week. Xoxoxo

Awkward.

Hello my lovely readers, an update before time hallelujah.  I'm back from holiday and I'm freaking ill. Just my luck. (Note the sarcasm)

So as you can tell from the title, this week's post is called AWKWARD, It was an idea that just popped in my head, to write about some awkward situations that I faced in life because I'm weird like that and probably some of you could relate to them. If you do relate to them,  comment below which situation you related to or any other awkward situation you've been through.

1. When you're walking in the street and see someone you know and wave at them but they ignore you and keep walking, it's awkward enough on your own, but imagine being with someone else then you have to brush it off and make a lame excuse. Talk about awkward.

2. When you stretch out your hand to shake hands with someone and they skip your hand to shake someone else's.  *Eyeroll*

3. When the teacher asks you to explain something infront of the class, so you don't know whether to look at your teacher or your classmates while trying not to keep your eyes on your friends or your crush. *meh*

4. When you hang out with your friends without your bffs and you feel left out, they do not include you in any conversation and you end up sitting in a corner trying to look casual.

5. When you arrive first at your meet up spot and you have to sit alone while waiting for your friends,  you basically want to shout at people to stop staring because you have friends and not sitting alone.

6. When you're smart but end up looking completely stupid in front of your crush. *the struggle*

7. When you're speaking to someone but they get distracted by something or someone and they ignore you or stop listening so you shut up or finish what you were saying to someone else.

Sooo that's it for this week's post I hope you liked it, don't forget to comment below your awkward situations,  if you liked this post click the g+ button and I could make a part two in a couple of weeks. Because you know awkward situations never end.

Till next week byeee. Xoxo
